Two Surveys, One Goal: Gathering Data to Enhance the Meredith Experience for Students, Faculty, and Staff

This spring, the Office of Research, Planning, and Assessment (RPA) is working with various campus units to administer a pair of campus surveys to help gather data that can be used to assess student satisfaction with various campus resources as well as gauge student, faculty and staff perceptions of the overall campus experience.
The Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS), which students were recently invited to complete via an email from President Sapp, is designed to gauge overall satisfaction with academic and co-curricular experiences at Meredith. RPA has developed and implemented this survey annually since 2012. A trend report for the SSS data can be found on RPA’s MyMeredith 2.0 site.
The Meredith College Engagement and Wellbeing Survey is scheduled to be distributed campus-wide to students, faculty, and staff on March 18. This survey will provide us with specific information on ways we can enhance the learning, living, and working environment on our campus. The Meredith College Engagement and Wellbeing Survey differs from the Employee Satisfaction Survey (implemented last fall) and the Student Satisfaction Survey (currently open), as it seeks to provide a complete picture of our campus experiences and interactions, rather than just satisfaction with available services, which is the focus of the two satisfaction surveys.
We need your help to boost response rates to both of these surveys!
As you interact with students, please remind them to:
We have created a flyer you can print and display in your area to advertise these two surveys that we consider to be vital tools for Meredith’s continuous improvement.
And, employees, don’t forget to take the Meredith College Engagement and Wellbeing Survey yourself!
If you have any questions about these surveys or any other assessment-related topics, please contact Dianne Raubenheimer (raubenhe@meredith.edu) or Dilnavaz Mirza Sharma (sharmadi@meredith.edu) in the Office of Research, Planning and Assessment.
