Trusted Elections Tour to Stop at Meredith College

The Trusted Elections Tour will stop at Meredith College on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held in Kresge Auditorium in Cate Student Center.

The Trusted Elections Tour offers 90-minute non-partisan town hall events featuring experts who will address public concerns about electronic voting machines and hacking, explain the secure process for collecting and counting votes, and advise on how challenges, recounts, and fraud allegations are dealt with through proper legal channels.

The North Carolina Network for Fair, Safe, & Secure Elections hosts the Trusted Elections Tour, a grassroots project initiated by The Carter Center. The tour is also supported by the League of Women Voters and Veterans for All Voters.

The tour consists of 27 town halls across the state to provide information on the electoral process, build trust in our voting system, and strengthen civil discourse.
