Meredith College values the health and welfare of its students. To serve the health needs of our student community, Meredith requires health insurance as a condition of enrollment for all full-time undergraduate (12 credit hours or more), licensure only, pre-health, international, Sansepolcro students, and dietetic interns to assure that students have access to health care services beyond what is available on campus.
My student already has health insurance. What do I need to do so I don't get billed?
If your student has health insurance and you wish to opt out of the plan that Meredith College offers, please complete the waiver using the link below. You will receive an email confirmation in 1-3 business days. If this form is not completed by Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. EDTyour student's account will automatically be charged and the student will be default enrolled in Meredith's 2016-2017 BCBS-NC plan.

My student does NOT have health insurance. What do I need to do?
Students who do not have health insurance may purchase a health insurance policy and complete the waiver. Student can find their own policy through the health care exchange at healthcare.gov or enroll in Meredith’s Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina plan using the link below. The waiver form needs to be completed by Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. EDT or your student's account will automatically be charged and the student will be default enrolled in Meredith's 2016-2017 BCBS-NC plan.
