Greetings from the Office of Admissions!

Spring is just around the corner! Our recruiters are continuing to review applications for the fall and are eagerly calling their students to congratulate them. It’s a very exciting time in the lives of these young high school women. The Admissions Office held an open house for high school juniors and seniors in January and recently hosted more than 150 students on campus for Scholars’ Weekend. Our big admitted student event, Experience Meredith, will take place on Saturday, March 23. Our open house for high school juniors will take place on Saturday, April 6. Students can also schedule an individual campus visit by registering online at meredith.edu/admissions/visit.

The January Focus Week took place January 14-18 with a focus on high school juniors in the NC-03 local region of NC (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) and the Mid-Atlantic region. There were 344 juniors contacted by 15 alumnae during this week. The Spring Focus Week took place the week of March 11 and focused on outreach to admitted students in the NC-04 Sandhills region, NC-06 Charlotte region, and Mid-Atlantic/Northeast regions. There were 143 students who were contacted via email by 16 alumnae. Thank you to those alumnae who emailed students and shared their Meredith experiences with these young women!

Alumnae Recruitment – Refer a Student to Meredith!
Remember, if you know a student who would be a great fit for Meredith, don’t forget to refer her via the online referral form. When the student applies to Meredith during her senior year, her $40 application fee will be waived. You can also find our “Friends of Meredith College Application Fee Voucher” online. Either one of these referrals will waive a student’s application fee when she applies.
