Social Work Program Hosting Elect Her Training 

Meredith’s Social Work Program is hosting an Elect Her Training facilitated by Running Start, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization preparing women to run for political office and engage in the political process. 

This event will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. The training is primarily for students, but faculty/staff are welcome.

Attendees will:

• Engage in nonpartisan discussions
• Participate in a campaign simulation
• Craft a campaign elevator speech
• Hear from an expert panel of local elected officials
• Apply networking skills at the Elect Her Reception

This is a ticketed professional event, Attendees will only be able to attend if they have registered for the three-hour workshop and reception. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email that you have been registered for the event. You will need to present the confirmation email during event check-in.
