During the 2015-16 academic year, the Meredith College community will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the granting of its charter. This historic step occurred on February 27, 1891.
A weeklong celebration will be held February 21-27, 2016. Mark your calendars for the following events during the 125th Celebration Week. More information will be added as the anniversary approaches.

In addition to these commemorations, there will be special celebrations for alumnae at Meredith and in their own communities.
Other highlights include a special exhibit about Meredith's history in North Carolina's capital will be on display at the City of Raleigh Museum in February and a commemorative poetry contest, which was completed earlier this month. Winners were announced at the Friends of the Library Fall Dinner.
