Peer Tutoring Options Available at The Learning Center

The Learning Center offers FREE peer tutoring for all Meredith students, and this semester we’re happy to be offering in-person and online appointments during regular business hours and online appointments during the evenings. We would love for you to talk to your student about peer tutoring and the benefits it has on learning. 

At Meredith, students who use the Learning Center are more likely to return to Meredith and have a higher GPA than students who do not use the Learning Center. Excellent students who know that they need extra accountability make weekly appointments for their challenging classes, and all writers can use a reader to help them make sure their writing communicates what they want it to communicate. If your student is taking a 100- or 200-level course, especially in writing, math (statistics and calculus), Spanish, or chemistry, we have tutors available to help them learn their material.
