On Giving Tuesday, which was held on December 2, 2025, Meredith College families came together to support the annual Parents and Families Project.
With inboxes overflowing with Black Friday promotions and Cyber Monday sales, parents of Meredith Angels still chose to step forward in support of this meaningful campus initiative. A total of $4,647 was raised and was matched by the duPont Fund on Giving Tuesday.
Each year, the Parents and Families Fund supports a meaningful on-campus project that directly benefits Meredith students. In recent years, thanks to the generosity of our parents and families, more than $55,000 has been raised to enhance campus security technology.
For the 2025–26 fiscal year, gifts to the Parents and Families Fund will support facility upgrades in the Cate Student Center, specifically in the second-floor study spaces. This area is a favorite spot for students to study and collaborate.
Interior Design and Meredith Honors student, Megan Philbin, ’26, is helping with this project by creating professional renderings for the space to help guide the renovation process.
“This project continues to serve as a wonderful example of cross-campus collaboration,” said Meredith Fund Giving Officer Holly Moyd. “Students, employees, and campus visitors will all be able to enjoy this newly renovated area, made possible by the generosity of our community.”
Support from parents and families helps keep Meredith College strong. Make a gift online or contact Holly Moyd in the Meredith Fund Office at hmoyd@meredith.edu.
