Parents Project Update from The Parents Fund

Thank you to all of the families who responded to The Parents Fund mailing in February. Because of your generous support, we are halfway to our goal of raising $30,000 for the Parents Project.

The 2014-15 Parents Project is a continuation of last year’s initiative, which began the process of upgrading the exterior lighting on campus. Additional lights have been added, and pre-existing lights have been replaced with LED units, making it more energy efficient and less expensive to operate.

The idea for this project came from the Student Government Association and was prioritized by President Jo Allen. Thanks to Meredith parents, the College was able to upgrade lighting in the outer areas of campus throughout the past year. The focus has now been moved to the interior areas of campus, and we still need your help!

You can support the Parents Project by making a gift online at, over the phone by calling (919) 760-8041, or by mailing a gift to Meredith College (Attn: Parents Fund).

The outcome of this project directly affects your student and her classmates. Thank you for your consideration and please know that all contributions will help us meet our ambitious goal.
