Parents & Families Support Meredith

As a Meredith parent or family member, your strong commitment to the Meredith experience helps inspire learning, leadership, service and personal growth of your student and her classmates. We are proud of the involvement of Meredith parents in our College community and have established a strong tradition of support through parent and family giving.

The Parents & Families Fund was established for Meredith parents and family members to support the College by helping to fund campus enhancement projects. Past parents projects have included:

  • the development, launch and programming for Meredith Mentors – Meredith’s student-alumnae mentoring platform
  • renovation and security enhancement of the front entrance to campus
  • additional security lights in student parking lots
  • support for renovations to the 2nd floor of Cate Student Center and lower Belk Dining Hall
  • funding to enhance the Lowery Fitness Center

The 2020-21 Parents Project will be announced this fall. Please consider making a gift to The Parents & Families Fund to support a new and exciting program/project for Meredith.

Visit our giving site to make an online gift.  Your gift of support will lay the groundwork for this year’s project and sends a strong message of involvement, appreciation and confidence in your daughter’s education at Meredith.*

Would you like to join the Parents Council?

The Parents Council is a group of dedicated parents of current and former students at Meredith. Parents Council members show their commitment and belief in the value of a Meredith education by serving the College in many ways: they attend 2 Parents Council meetings/year including hearing from &/or visiting with President Allen, act as ambassadors for the College at Admissions events, Cornhuskin’ and Move-in Day, act as advisors by offering insights and feedback about their daughters’ experiences on campus, and provide financial leadership to The Parents & Families Fund.

If you would like to:

  • learn about what’s happening at Meredith and offer feedback
