October is National Energy Awareness Month! 

Just in time for another popular October event, we would like to share a fun and informative article by our electricity provider, Duke Energy Progress, to explore scary Vampire electrical devices you may have at home or on our campus.

These devices continue to “drink” electricity around the clock while plugged in but not actively “On.” You may be “shocked” at how these devices can add up to “take a bite” out of your wallet! Enjoy the calculator tool and figure out how to turn these vampires into ghosts. Happy “haunting” for energy savings.
