Meredith Participates in NC Association of Family & Consumer Sciences Meeting

Meredith faculty Eunyoung Yang, Nina Bostic, and Deborah Tippett attended the North Carolina Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Annual Meeting in New Bern, N.C., April 9-10 with five students. 

Three students, DeNancy Brown, Avonee Simmons, and Amber Winslow presented their undergraduate research in a peer reviewed session. 

Courtney Parker was recognized as the Student of the Year by the association. 

The organization is the North Carolina affiliate of the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (AAFCS), which for more than 100 years has provided leadership and support to professionals whose work assists individuals, families, and communities in making informed decisions about their well-being, relationships, and resources to achieve optimal quality of life.
