Meredith Nutrition Graduate Student Association Food Drive

The Meredith Nutrition Graduate Student Association is sponsoring a campus-wide food drive this month in recognition of World Poverty & World Food Day. This event will also serve as a launching point for the organization’s week-long Hunger Week initiative, planned for the end of March. 

The food drive began on Friday, October 15, and continues through Friday, October 22. All donations will go to the Daisy Trade Food Pantry on campus. 

Items to donate include:

• Rice cups
• Pasta & sauce
• Mac & cheese cups
• Canned Meats
• Condiments (ketchup, mayo, etc.)
• Peanut Butter & Jelly
• Protein bars and other non-perishable snacks

There is an immediate need to replenish the Daisy Trade food pantry after the many months of COVID-19 restrictions. 

Drop off donations in the boxes located in Belk Dining Hall, Cate Center, Library, the Chapel, Martin, Ledford, Harris, Lux, and in the resident hall parlors. See Collection Box Locations
