Meredith Marketing Increases Focus on YouTube Channel

Recent market research shows that prospective undergraduate, graduate, and adult students are increasingly relying on YouTube in their college search efforts.
To position Meredith for meeting those needs, the Marketing video team has increased its focus on YouTube as a promotional tool.
Led by Assistant Director of Visual Communication-Multimedia Charlotte McKinney, the video team has implemented a consistent weekly video release schedule, with new videos posting each Wednesday. The video team is also coordinating with Social Media Strategist and Content Producer Anna Blount to maximize audience engagement on other platforms.
Video highlights this fall include a long-form interview with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Tracy K. Smith as part of her visit to Meredith’s campus this fall and a video celebrating the opening of the Estes-Speight Athletic Center.
