Meredith Magazine Summer Issue Now Online
- Published
This summer, the first-ever digital-only Meredith Magazine was published. This new format allows the Magazine editorial staff to deliver news and feature stories to alumnae, faculty/staff, and other readers in a more interactive way.
In this issue, readers will learn how Meredith College celebrated the Classes of 2020 and 2021, read in their own words how alumnae became stronger in 2020, and discover how alumnae have contributed to the research and development of the COVID-19 vaccine. The magazine includes information on how donors have impacted the student experience and how donors can help support students.
Via video, hear the story of two alumnae, La’Meshia Whittington, ’16, and Jovita Lee, ’16, and how they are now sharing their knowledge by teaching a sociology course on racial equity and social justice. The issue also features an interview with Michael Altman, hospitality and tourism management program director, on where the hospitality industry is headed following the pandemic.
Class Notes, which are always popular with alumnae, are organized in a way that is easy to navigate by class year and life event.
