After a week spent celebrating its 125th anniversary, Meredith College kicked off the public phase of its Beyond Strong fundraising campaign and announced the $75 million campaign goal.
During the campaign's quiet phase, the College has raised nearly $53 million, surpassing the previous campaign’s total by more than $11 million. Funds raised through the campaign support six priorities: educational excellence, optimal enrollment, enhanced financial strength, cutting edge facilities and technology, greater visibility, and enhanced quality of life.
“As we launch the public phase of this campaign, we thank you for gifts and remind you that no gift is too small to make a difference,” said President Jo Allen. "Your dedication and generosity will not only keep us Going Strong but move us Beyond Strong."
During the 125th celebration week, Meredith College also held its first 24 Hour Giving Day on February 23. The Make It Count for Meredith campaign raised more than $283,000 in one day. This fundraising effort surpassed its initial goal by 226%.
