Meredith.edu Training Update

As you know, the Meredith College website is one of our primary marketing and communication tools, especially for students who are considering attending the College. As such, it is critical that we maintain the website’s content – a task that is shared by our entire campus community.

In Fall of 2017, Expression Engine (EE3), the software platform that runs meredith.edu, was upgraded. As part of that upgrade and transition, members of the campus community needed to be retrained in order to have access to the website.

The Marketing Web Strategy Team appreciates all who have responded to our invitations to attend training sessions. To date, over 90 colleagues have been trained in EE3 and now have access to make updates to content in their specific areas of the website. Thank you!

Here are some additional notes about training related to Meredith.edu:

  • Training sessions began in November of 2017. Individuals who completed the training were identified by their Unit Leaders as either Content Owners or Content Contributors.
  • Those who have been trained are expected to maintain the accuracy, currency, and accessibility of the website content in their area. The marketing office will continue to upload photos and pdfs – if assistance is needed with either, please continue to use the website update form, found in MyMeredith.
  • Moving forward, monthly training sessions will be held, both to provide refresher opportunities for those who may need additional support, and to train new staff/faculty or those with new website responsibilities.

Questions about training or the website should be directed to Dave Timberlake at timberla@meredith.edu or Gaye Hill at hillgaye@meredith.edu.

Thank you again for all you do to help us to keep our website Going Strong!
