Meredith College to Hold Annual Service Honoring Women Veterans

Meredith College will hold the 2025 Honoring Women Veterans event on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. in Jones Chapel. 

The annual event honors all veterans, with special emphasis on the contributions of women veterans. The celebration includes recognition of veterans in attendance and the playing of military service anthems.

The focus of this year’s event is honoring all veterans in the Meredith community and sharing information about The Joel Fund. This nonprofit provides support for local veterans through meaningful conversations, connections, and art. 

The Honoring Women Veterans event is free and open to the public. 

The commemoration is presented by the Meredith College Honoring Women Veterans Committee. 

Veterans Day Service Project
Meredith community members can visit the Cate Center Alcove, 1st Floor, between classes to create cards for veterans. A card creation table will be set up in the Cate lobby through Friday, Nov. 14.

Military Displays
Military Service displays are on view in the Carlyle Campbell Library through Thanksgiving.
