Meredith College Extends $20,000 Impact Scholarship Program

Meredith College has extended its Impact Scholarship program, which was launched for the Class of 2024, for the incoming Class of 2025.

The Impact Scholarship program, which is a $20,000 scholarship guarantee, is part of Meredith’s commitment to helping families of qualified students during challenging economic times.

“Extending the Impact Scholarship, which guarantees financial support for four years, demonstrates Meredith’s commitment to helping all women, regardless of their financial backgrounds, develop their strengths and full potential,” said President Jo Allen.

Meredith Impact Scholarships will be awarded to first-year admitted students meeting the academic criteria. Recipients must have a 3.4 unweighted GPA or 1100 SAT/22 ACT.

No separate application is needed for the Impact Scholarship. Admitted first-year students are guaranteed to receive a minimum $20,000 annual scholarship award if the scholarship qualifications are met. The scholarship is renewable for four years as long as the recipient maintains good academic standing.

Incoming students who enrolled in the Class of 2024 have indicated that the Impact Scholarship influenced their decision to attend Meredith. One member of the incoming class said she is grateful for the opportunity provided through the Impact Scholarship.

“Receiving the Impact Scholarship did contribute greatly to my decision and commitment to Meredith because it lifted a large chunk of the financial burden off of my parents,” Ainsley Mengel, ’24. “I’m excited to learn, grow, and serve to become the best version of me that I possibly can.”
