Meredith Ad Featured On ESPN+ 

Meredith College’s This Is Meredith video was featured on ESPN+ during the broadcast of the 2025 Winter World University Games from Torino, Italy. Meredith’s in-house video team produced the ad.

ESPN+ aired a three-hour broadcast from each of the last six nights of the Winter World University Games, from Saturday, January 18 through Thursday, January 23, in prime time from 8-11 p.m. each evening. The Meredith ad ran three times during this broadcast period.

The 2029 World University Games will be held in North Carolina, and Meredith College will serve as a host institution. The ESPN+ ad run was a benefit of serving as a host. Specifics of Meredith’s hosting opportunity will be finalized as planning for the Games continues.

The World University Games are the world’s largest event for student-athletes and the second-largest global Olympic multi-sport event, second only to the Olympic Games. Held every other year in the odd year, the Games feature the best collegiate and university athletes from over 150 countries competing in 15 compulsory sports and three optional sports during a 12-day event. The 2029 event will be the first time these Games have been held in the United States since 1993.
