Nursing Program Receives Approval from North Carolina Board of Nursing

Professor of Music Kent Lyman Presents Faculty Distinguished Lecture

Nine Days of Celebration for the Inauguration of Meredith’s Ninth President
April 2025

The Meredith community celebrated the inauguration of Aimee Sapp as the College’s ninth president. From a “ninth night” celebration, a community coffee, and the installation of President Sapp, the events brought together the campus community. Celebrating 2025 Woman of Achievement Betty Webb
April 28, 2025

Professor Emerita Betty Webb, ’67, received the Meredith College 2025 Woman of Achievement Award. She was interviewed about her long career as an English faculty member and as a leader in international education during the event by Vice President for College Programs and Professor of English Jean Jackson, ’75. First Legacy Pinning Ceremony Held
August 16, 2025

Meredith’s Office of Alumnae Relations started a new tradition by hosting a legacy pinning ceremony and reception. The event celebrated students whose mothers or grandmothers attended Meredith. Estes-Speight Family Athletic Center Opening
September 5, 2025

Pulitzer Prize Winner Tracy K. Smith Speaks at Meredith
September 18, 2025
Acclaimed author Tracy K. Smith, a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and memoirist, delivered the 2025 Lillian Parker Wallace Lecture.
