Honoring Senior Athletes

We miss spring sports too! With the cancelation of the Meredith golf, lacrosse, softball, tennis, and track & field spring seasons, our seniors will miss their traditional Senior Day recognitions. In an effort to show some deserved attention to these senior Avenging Angels, the athletics department will honor each senior throughout the month of April.

Follow the Senior Day Series at goavengingangels.com, on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Also, Meredith athletics will take over the USA South Instagram page on April 22 for another tribute to spring sport seniors.

Originally slated for later this month, Meredith’s 22nd Annual Golf Classic and Online Auction was postponed until Monday, Sept. 21. Golfers will play 18 holes at our varsity team’s home course of Wildwood Green Golf Club, and the auction will move to an online platform for the first time. Athletic Director Jackie Myers and her staff, with contributions from Jean Jackson, vice president for college programs, and Stephanie Little, faculty athletics rep and associate professor, will host the Athletic Awards Ceremony later in the semester. The virtual platform will allow parents and friends to enjoy the celebration. Check in with your student for more details available later this month.
