Fifth Annual Giving Day to be Held February 25

The fifth annual Make It Count for Meredith Giving Day will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. This 24-hour giving challenge aims to raise $500,000 and The Meredith Fund is asking donors to recognize a strong woman in their life and honor her with a gift. This year, The Meredith Fund’s goal is to reach 500 women honored. This could be your opportunity to honor your current Meredith student or do you have a Meredith alumna in your family?

Follow Meredith College on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to stay connected throughout the day to see videos, photos, and learn about challenges. Visit meredith.edu/makeitcount4mc to see the total amount raised in real time. If you are on social media change your profile picture to show your Meredith pride by wearing your Meredith apparel. Use the #MakeItCount4MC in your posts. Additionally, help spread the word by posting the link meredith.edu/makeitcount4mc and encourage people to give.

Last year, the goal of our fourth Giving Day was $400,000. The goal was met by 7 p.m. and then the focus turned to reaching the goal of 1,891 donors in honor of the College’s founding in 1891. By midnight 2,123 donors helped push the day’s giving to 134% of the initial goal.

If you would like to make a gift, go to meredith.edu/makeitcount4mc or call (919) 760-8202 on February 25. Any amount can make a difference.
