Fall 2017 Admissions Update

Fall is upon us and it’s been a busy fall travel season for our admission recruiters so far. Our recruiters have been traveling up and down the East Coast attending college fairs and meeting with high school counselors and students. Reading applications is also a high priority for our recruiters right now, and we’re excited to start congratulating students on their admission to Meredith soon!

We wrapped up our second Think Meredith Open House for high school seniors on Monday, October 23 and had a successful event. We had 91 students total who attended the event, and several of these students had already started or submitted their application for admission. Our last open house for seniors will take place on Monday, January 29. Our Junior Open House for high school juniors will take place on Saturday, April 21 and registration will be available in 2018.

Please encourage prospective students to visit campus this fall. They can attend an open house as a senior or schedule an individual visit by registering online at meredith.edu/admissions/visit.

Alumnae Recruitment

If you are interested in attending a college fair in the Mid-Atlantic or northeast region this spring, please email me directly. I’m looking for a few alumnae who could possibly attend a fair or two in these areas.

Remember, if you know a student who would be a great fit for Meredith, don’t forget to refer her via the online referral form. When the student applies to Meredith during her senior year, her $40 application fee will be waived.
