Faculty/Staff Accomplishments 4/8/26

In this issue, we celebrate accomplishments from faculty and staff in the departments of accounting and theatre.

Dr. Nancy L. Johnson, Assistant Professor Accounting, School of Business presented an accounting business case she authored with co-authors, Dr. Brian Routh, Associate Professor of Accounting, School of Business, and Faye Larson of Saint Mary’s University titled The jeweler’s paper ledgers: A management accounting dilemma in the Society of Case Research track at the MBAA International Conference,  Chicago, Ill., on March, 26,2026.

Johnson also presented her paper,  Virtual presence: Teaching virtual meeting mastery in the classroom in the North American Accounting Society track at the MBAA International Conference, Chicago, Ill., on March, 26, 2026.

The inaugural Solo Play Festival runs April 16-19 in Studio Theatre with performances featuring student work, a new solo from Assistant Professor of Theatre Lormarev Jones, as well as guest artists J. Chachula, Jody Christopherson, and Erika MacDonald. Tickets are free for Meredith Faculty, Staff, and Students and $15 for the public.
