Enroll Your Child in a Meredith Summer Camp

Meredith College has a variety of summer camps available in June and July. Below are the academic options. All camps run Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

June 17 – 21, 2019

Verano Latino (Building Bilingual, Biliterate, and Bicultural Learners)

  • Rising first through rising fifth grade girls and boys
  • Serves 10-12 Native Spanish speaking students from AB Combs Elementary School

ARTist in Me!

  • Rising first through rising fifth grade girls
  • Focus on the visual and performing arts.
  • Emphasis on Language Arts and Social Studies.

The Art of Making Theatre:

  • Female middle school students of ALL BACKGROUNDS and EXPERIENCE LEVELS to come discover the Meredith College Superheroes and what makes them Strong.
  • Over the week students will develop their own strength of creative expression through playwriting and improvisation work. That student created work will be produced and presented at the end of the week for an invited public.

July 22-26, 2019

GEMS (Growing Engineers, Mathematicians and Scientists)

  • Rising first through rising fifth grade girls.
  • Activities designed to provide an overview of these careers and general curriculum.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math)

  • Rising sixth through rising eighth grade girls
  • Activities designed to experience the specific curriculums
