Class of 2022 Plans Senior Spirit Week for Its Class Gift Project

Ally Cefalu and Olivia Slack, the 2022 Senior Class Gift co-chairs, invite you to watch this video to learn more about their Senior Class Gift project for new recreational spaces on campus.

When you contribute to the Senior Class Gift project, you can honor a graduating senior!  Those seniors will receive a special recognition letter. Your gift will support the project, and your participation will be included in our overall Faculty & Staff Giving percentage.

Make your gift today at the Senior Class Gift participation page. The Class of 2022 greatly appreciates gifts of all sizes.

As a component of the Senior Class Gift initiative, Cefalu and Slack are holding Senior Spirit Week from April 11-15. These activities are to build class unity and celebrate Meredith. To participate, seniors can visit the Senior Class Gift table in the Cate Center. There are scheduled themes for each day of Senior Spirit Week:

  • Monday, April 11  – EVENS Rock! Seniors wear Green and White.
  • Tuesday, April 12 Twin 2uesday! Seniors wear matching outfits with a friend.
  • Wednesday, April 13 Wings Wednesday! Seniors wear wings. On this day, seniors will be able to honor a faculty or staff member who helped them “gain their wings” during their time at Meredith.
  • Thursday, April 14Meredith Day! Seniors wear Meredith colors.
  • Friday, April 15  – WFH (work from home) Friday! Seniors are encouraged to upload a selfie of themselves giving to the Senior Class Gift project.

Each year, the Senior Class raises money to support a particular Senior Class Gift project. Participation is a significant component of this campaign and reflects how collective giving can have a sizable impact on the College.

Please stay tuned to hear the results of this year’s Senior Class Gift project. If you have any questions, please contact Jean Gambrill at Thank you for all you do for Meredith.
