Celebrating the International Day of Education

Saturday, January 24, 2026, is International Day of Education, a day celebrating the impact of education on the world. The United Nations established this day in 2018.

As one of the largest independent women’s colleges in the U.S., Meredith College celebrates the power of education every day, living out the College’s mission statement, which states: “Meredith College, grounded in the liberal arts and committed to professional preparation, educates and inspires students to live with integrity and provide leadership for the needs, opportunities and challenges of society.”
