Assessment Matters: Alumnae Survey
- Published
Office of Research Planning and Assessment (RPA), with input from various campus units, surveyed Meredith alumnae this spring. 10,567 Meredith alumnae who graduated between 1940 and 2017 were invited to participate in the survey. 30% of the alumnae emailed started the survey, while 21% completed the entire questionnaire.
The survey was designed to update existing alumnae records and gather feedback about alumnae’s curricular and co-curricular Meredith experience, the Going Strong brand campaign, and other strategic priorities. Also included in the survey were questions pertaining to specific majors. Discipline specific question blocks were developed by RPA in partnership with the relevant academic departments.
The following are some highlights that show significant levels of alumnae satisfaction with their Meredith experiences:
The results from this survey are used by a number of units on campus in their annual assessment processes, as well as by Institutional Advancement to reach out to alumnae who have expressed particular interest in contributing to Meredith in various ways. Academic programs and other campus units that submitted questions for the Alumnae Survey will be receiving individual survey reports from RPA in the coming weeks.

Thank you to everyone for working to enhance the experiences and satisfaction of our students and alumnae!
