Alumnae Celebration of Meredith’s Psychology Program Planned

Meredith College’s Psychology program will host a celebration of its strong history and bright future on Thursday, April 27, 2017. Festivities will begin with a ticketed pre-event reception in honor of Professor Emerita Marie Mason, ’47.

Join us as we reconnect with psychology alumnae, current and retired faculty, and friends. The reception will be followed by Journey to discovery: Ruling it in and ruling it out, a lecture presented by Dr. Ruth Kennedy, ’83, in Jones Chapel, and the announcement of some exciting news from the Department of Psychology and Social Work. The lecture is free and open to the public. A dessert reception will follow in the newly renovated Johnson Hall rotunda.

Contact Denise Parker at or call 919-760-8051 for reservations to the pre-event reception.
