A Message from Your Alumnae Association President

Hello and Happy New Year,

2018 has arrived!  I hope that each of you had a chance to enjoy some beautiful snow wherever you may live. I also hope that you are getting excited about Founders’ Week, which is coming up this month. How is it possible that February is already zipping along? The Meredith Fund office has lots of fun in store for us on Giving Day – February 27, 2018! This year will continue the theme ‘Honor a Strong Woman’ so be sure to wear your Meredith attire, keep up with the totals on social media, and most importantly – give back and challenge your fellow alumnae to give back so that Meredith can stay STRONG for generations to come!

Spring is just around the corner and that means REUNION WEEKEND! This year Meredith will honor those classes ending in 3’s & 8’s but any and all alumnae are welcome to attend the weekend’s festivities. Mark your calendar for May 18-20. The Meredith State of the College will be held on Saturday morning, May 19 in Jones Auditorium. Please join us to hear President Jo Allen’s update on Meredith, current class updates, and to honor our Alumnae Awards recipients. This year we will present awards for outstanding alumnae in the categories of Distinguished Alumna, Recent Graduate, and Career Achievement. If you know any deserving classmates or alumnae, please be sure to submit a nomination.

My hope for each of you is a healthy, happy and prosperous 2018! Since spring is a great time to refresh your life, be sure to refresh all your contact information at Meredith, too! We want each and every alumna to be able to stay in touch, hear updates, and know what is happening in the life of the College. Contact the Alumnae Office today to do so.
