Is your program accredited?
Yes. Meredith College’s MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Do you have men in your MBA program?
Yes. All graduate programs at Meredith are co-ed.

Do I need to take the GMAT or GRE to apply?
No. The GMAT and GRE are not required.

Do I need to have work experience?
No. While some work experience is preferred, strong emerging leaders with little to no work experience are considered. On average, our MBA students have 5-7 years of work experience.

What if I don’t have post-undergraduate work experience?
Students coming out of an undergraduate degree program can still apply to the Meredith MBA, and we select a small number of these emerging leaders every semester.

Can I get my MBA if I don’t have an undergraduate degree in business?
Absolutely! Typically over 50% of our students have undergraduate degrees in disciplines other than business, including liberal arts, biology and communications.

How long will it take for me to complete the program?
Typical completion time is two to three years, depending on number of foundations courses needed.  The Accelerated MBA can be completed in one to two years.

What are Foundations courses?
These courses offer the base of knowledge needed to succeed in the MBA program, including quantitative methods, accounting, economics, and finance.  A transcript review determines which courses are required or recommended.

Do I need to wait until I’m done with my Foundations courses to apply?
No. The admissions committee can review your application before you complete your Foundations courses. You may complete the Foundations courses knowing that you have been accepted as a degree-seeker to the MBA program.

Do you have financial aid and scholarships?
Yes. The Office of Financial Assistance can help you apply for federal loans for your graduate education. You will need to fill out the FAFSA to determine the assistance that is available for you. Scholarships also are available for strong program applicants.  We also offer a payment plan which allows students to spread payments out over the semester.

Do you offer career services?
Yes, we provide customized career services and development opportunities. We also have strong relationships with employers that can help you if you want to explore other options.

Do you offer your MBA classes during the day or online?
Not at this time. All our courses are offered in the evening on our campus, conveniently located just off of I-40 and the 440 Beltline in Raleigh.
