*GMAT/GRE scores NOT required for the 2020-2021 academic year. Waiver also not required.*

Prospective Meredith MBA students may qualify for a GMAT/GRE waiver.  Please review the waiver information before submitting a request.

Applicants who meet one or more of the following criteria are encouraged to request a waiver:

  • Four or more years of full-time, professional post-baccalaureate work experience
  • Undergraduate GPA of a 3.5 or higher from an AACSB institution
  • Completed graduate degree or US graduate degree equivalent
  • Completion of three Meredith Foundation courses with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • US military service
  • Nine or more credit hours in an AACSB-accredited MBA program with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

To request a waiver, please submit the following to: mba@meredith.edu

  • Completed GMAT/GRE Waiver Form
  • Undergraduate transcripts (required) and graduate transcripts (if applicable)
  • Current resume

Submitting a request does not ensure a waiver approval.  Further, an approved waiver does not guarantee admission to the MBA program.  Waiver applicants will receive results within approximately two weeks.  An approved GMAT/GRE waiver is valid for one year.

International Applicants:  Prospective students with undergraduate or graduate degrees from outside of the U.S. must submit a course-by-course evaluation of transcripts.  Options for independent course evaluation services include The Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE), National Association of Credential Evaluation Services(NACES), AACRAO International Education Services (IES) or World Education Services, Inc.(WES.)
