Fall 2020 FAQs for F-1 International Students
Learning Center
The Learning Center provides free one-on-one tutoring to all Meredith students. This is a very helpful resource to international students who may want a paper checked over, or who would like to practice their English with an English tutor. The Learning Center now offers English Conversation tutoring for students who want to practice their English language skills.
Dean of students office
The Dean of Students Office provides student support and advising. The DOS office also specializes in connecting students with the right people on campus, so if you don’t know where to go, they can help.
Academic advising
The Office of Academic Advising empowers students to make academic decisions through reflection of skills, values, and interests, major exploration, and implementation and evaluation of action plans. Students develop confidence, competence and assume responsibility for achieving their goals by utilizing academic counseling, workshops, courses, events and experiential opportunities
