Student advisers are rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are chosen each year to assist incoming first-year and transfer students in orientation, registration, and overall adjustment to campus life. They also serve as a liaison to the faculty adviser, as well as a peer adviser to new students.
Any rising sophomore, junior, or senior with at least a 2.4 GPA who does not hold a major campus office is eligible. Student adviser application information are available each January.
Wings & Transfer Advisers
Wings and transfer advisers are upper-class students chosen each year to assist new adult and transfer students during orientation and through the first year. Advisers provide support for the unique needs of transfer and adult students, particularly in regard to balancing the demands of college, work, and family roles.
