THIS SESSION IS FULL. Please contact Ashley Hogan at hogana@meredith.edu to add your child’s name to the waitlist.

The Meredith College High School Writing Workshop is a summer creative writing program for high school-aged students (ages 14-18) of all gender identities. This program offers aspiring writers a chance to work with Meredith College creative writing faculty, all of whom are published writers, in a small-group workshop setting. Because we want this to be an intensive, focused experience for our participants, space is limited to 12 students. Enrollment is first come, first served.

Instruction will focus on several genres, including fiction, personal essay, and poetry, and will include both peer workshop and one-on-one feedback from instructors.
Workshops will be held from 1 pm – 4 pm Monday-Thursday, with a special participant open mic and reception on Friday.

The $195 enrollment fee includes daily snacks, a camp t-shirt, and writing materials.
