Bob Eaves, a 1958 accounting major graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, started his business career in Atlanta, Ga., as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. After three years, he started what was to be a very successful career in the retail gasoline and c-store business.
Mr. Eaves has served on numerous boards and civic organizations. Mr. Eaves presently serves on the boards of The Public School Forum of North Carolina, The James B. Hunt Institute for Education Leadership, and The University of North Carolina School of Education Foundation Board.
He is married to former N.C. Governor Beverly Eaves Perdue. They reside in Chapel Hill and New Bern.
