My entire career has been in the field of education. After graduation from East Carolina University, I served as a classroom teacher and an instructional resource teacher in public and parochial schools, from Sumter, South Carolina to Greenville and Durham, NC. I have also been privileged to provide leadership in mathematics education as a supervisor in both Pitt and Wake County Public School Systems. My college teaching career began at U.N.C.-Chapel Hill, followed by N.C. State University. It has been my pleasure to be part of the professional development of future and current teachers at Meredith College since 1992.
