Dr. German Echecopar is a Visiting Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship in the School of Business at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. Professor Echecopar has taught for over twenty years at different institutions, such as Tulane University, UCLA, Universidad Adolfo Ibanez, Universidad Diego Portales, among others.
Dr. Echecopar’s research interests include new venture creation, startup accelerators, angel investing, and venture capital. Professor Echecopar has participated in the design and implementation of innovation and entrepreneurial policies in Chile and has consulted on innovation and entrepreneurship policies for multilateral institutions. He also has consulted on strategy and business development for companies in Latin America and the USA. With partners he has created and grown 4 companies in the food and information technology industries.
