Profile

Dawn Carroll is the Administrative Assistant to the Dean for the School of Business at Meredith College.  She started her career in the non-profit sector and with small businesses, working in care roles, accounting, and management. 

Before coming to Meredith, Dawn worked at her alma mater of Campbell University for over nine years.  Her career in higher education began when she was onboarded as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the School of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University, working at the forefront of the pre-accreditation process.  Dawn then progressed into the role of Medical Education Specialist in the School of Osteopathic Medicine where she assisted in the creation and institution of the policies and procedures which shaped student testing for the first and second year medical students.  After six years with the medical school, Dawn became the Education and Testing Coordinator for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she led the effort in integrated testing for the revised pharmacy curriculum for three years.

 Dawn lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and their son, Nathan.
