Chris Rolfe retired from Duke Energy in 2009 after a 37 year career. Chris served in a variety of executive roles including Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Group Executive and Chief Administrative officer. In these roles Chris had responsibility for Human Resources, Strategy and Planning, Information Technology, Supply Chain and other corporate functions.
Chris served on numerous industry and civic boards and commissions at the local, state and national levels. In addition Chris served as chair of EEI’s Research Management Committee, The Utility Renewable Resource Association, The US Chamber Center for Workforce Development, and The North Carolina Commission on Workforce Development. Chris was awarded the Old North State award, The Cornerstone award by Goodwill Industries, and is a member of the NC State University, Mechanical and Aerospace Department Hall of Fame. Chris was a registered professional engineer in North and South Carolina and was a member of ASME.
