Shakespeare in Context

This course examines multiple Shakespeare plays in historical context with attention to their modern resonances. Supplementary reading will include critical and literary responses to Shakespeare’s work. Contextual research and discussion will include gender, sexuality, race, or class. Prerequisite: ENG 200
