2020 Meredith College Commencement Update

Because of COVID-19 concerns, we have made the difficult decision to postpone – not cancel – our spring Commencement exercises. Until that time, here are four important updates for the Class of 2020 and their families:

  • Although the Commencement ceremony has been postponed, those who are eligible can consider themselves graduates of Meredith College and claim that status for purposes of updating resumes, LinkedIn profiles, etc.
  • A video to commemorate the conferring of degrees will be posted on Meredith's social media and on meredith.edu/celebrate on Saturday, May 9 at 8 p.m., when Commencement was scheduled to take place.
  • Plans for an in-person Commencement ceremony will be shared on this page at a later date. We continue to solicit feedback from members of the Class of 2020.
  • A website to Celebrate the Class of 2020 offers the entire Meredith community ways to show their support. We hope you’ll participate using the hashtag #VisionDay2020.
