Career Planning at Meredith starts during your first year. And with resources available through the Office of Career Planning, which include assistance with selecting a major, assessing skills and talents, securing internships, and participating in mock interviews, you will turn those career plans into reality.
Mission: To prepare and empower students and alumnae to succeed in careers aligned with their strengths, values, and goals.
Vision: Recognized and valued as the premier resource for career planning, professional, and personal development.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: The Meredith College Office of Career Planning is committed to providing a welcoming environment where all identities, perspectives and experiences are heard, respected, and valued in conversations about career and professional development. We aim to use an individualized and intersectional approach in our services and be mindful of how power, privilege, and bias impact career development and opportunity. OCP supports students of all identities and acknowledges the systemic forms of discrimination that have marginalized underrepresented and underserved students. OCP programs and services are guided by these values. As a team, we promote open and honest dialogues about how to make ourselves, our services, and our staff more inclusive. We welcome and invite dialogue on how we can better ensure that all students and community members feel celebrated, respected, and heard.
