Meredith College presents the Lillian Parker Wallace Lecture, “A Conversation with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of the United States,” to be held on September 23, 2019, at 7:30 p.m., in Meymandi Concert Hall, Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Raleigh, N.C.
All tickets will be free, but tickets will be required. Ticket distribution will be through Meredith College only. We look forward to having many of the Meredith community and other special guests in attendance for this exciting lecture.
Wallace Lecture Ticket Distribution Timeline:
Demand for tickets to Meredith’s Lillian Parker Wallace Lecture with Ruth Bader Ginsburg is expected to be high, but we hope to be able to accommodate as many students, faculty, staff, and alumnae/i as possible.
Tickets will be distributed via a lottery system. The time your ticket request is submitted does not impact your chances in the ticket lottery.
All tickets are free and cannot be sold or transferred. Identification will be required to pick up tickets at the 7:30 p.m. lecture on Monday, September 23.
Meredith plans to share ticket request instructions using the following timeline:
Monday, August 26: Meredith College students, faculty and staff, including retirees, will receive an email with ticket request instructions. Meredith community members in these groups will be able to request up to 2 tickets.
Wednesday, August 28: Meredith College alumnae will receive an email with ticket request instructions. Alumnae/i will be able to request up to 2 tickets.
The deadline for Meredith community members to request tickets is Wednesday, September 4.
Meredith College community members who receive any tickets will be notified by September 9.
Public Tickets: Any tickets still available after the distribution to Meredith community members will be offered by lottery to the public on or after Monday, September 16. Details on how to request public tickets will be posted on meredith.edu/wallace-lecture.
