Campus Connections: Volume 14, Issue 12

A current student and a recent alumna of Meredith’s Industrial-Organizational Psychology Master of Arts program recently attended the inaugural 2024 Blacks in Industrial Organizational Psychology (BIOP) Annual Conference in Atlanta.  BIOP is a professional networking and learning non-profit for Black I/O psychologists, practitioners, and students, and supportive allies.

Meredith College student Emma Brooks, ’24, has been featured on the website of Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide.  Brooks is earning a degree in mathematics and computer science with a minor in data science. In the WiDs article, she discusses how her interest in data science began at Meredith.

Each semester, the Alumnae Association and Office of Alumnae Relations hosts a student-focused event to engage, support, and foster outreach to all current students. This semester has featured events focused on Valentine’s Day and Meredith’s Alice in Wonderland tradition.

In this issue, we celebrate the accomplishments of faculty and staff in accounting, communication, economics, English, food and nutrition, music, and psychology. We also share news about Hunger Week, which continues through March 28.
