Tap Dance Show

On Saturday, January 10th at 7:30 PM, in Jones Auditorium, Enloe High School, Meredith College Dance, and the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble (NCYTE, pronounced “incite” or “insight”) collaborate to perform new and recent works in their rhythm tap repertoire. We have borrowed NCYTE’s good tap floor and tap mics. The show (one night only) is about 90 minutes of highly skilled, innovative tap from the world-renowned NCYTE, host Meredith College Dance, and Enloe High School, known for some of Wake County’s most impressive thinkers and movers. NCYTE carries rep from famous choreographers such as Michelle Dorrance and Ayodele Casel. From Meredith, three current students, Faculty Courtney White, and seven alumni dancers are performing.

This show is free to current Meredith students, faculty, and staff and is family-friendly.
