EVENT POSTPONED. Meredith College Department of Music presents Amahl and the Night Visitors by Gian Carlo Menotti.

Amahl and the Night Visitors by Gian Carlo Menotti is a one-act English opera that tells the story of the Three Kings on their travel to Bethlehem. Along their journey, they stop at the house of a poor, widowed mother and her crippled son, Amahl. The family offers their hospitality and what little they have, leading to a miracle.

The show is approximately 30 minutes long, with no intermission.

The concert is free and seating is general admission.

This performance counts as an academic and cultural event for Meredith College students.
