After School Program


At Meredith, we understand that the challenge of finding affordable care and balancing your roles as a student parent can be a barrier to completing your college degree. That's why, with support from the Jessie Ball duPont Foundation, we've created the Wings After School Program - to help you meet the many important demands on your time.

Program Specifics

  • Serves children 5-12 years-old (male and female)
  • Monday-Thursday, 3-7 p.m. and Friday, 3-6 p.m. (follows Meredith's academic calendar)
  • Provides tutoring, homework assistance, active lessons, and activities
  • Limited transportation is provided from specific schools (send inquiries towingsafterschool@meredith.edu)
  • Small class size (25 student maximum)
  • Located on Meredith’s campus 
  • Well-staffed (Staff includes a director (full time), assistant director (part time), student workers, and student volunteers)
  • Cost is $175 per month, per child (students may participate any number of days during the week)
  • Rolling admission (space is available now)
  • Drop-in care options designed for students who occasionally need time to work on research, projects, etc. on campus. Cost is $25 per child, per day
