Entry 1: July 6, 2009

London is amazing. I am having so much fun the first week. I have not stopped. Every day this week I have only been in my room to sleep. We have already been on a big bus tour, National Art Gallery, British Museum, Tate British, Kensington Gardens, Cabinet War Rooms, Winston Churchill Museum, Hampton Court, a service at St. Paul’s and seeing “Wicked,” the musical, even had tea at the Orangery.

My favorites have been The Cabinet War Rooms, high tea and “Wicked.” I was literally walking around the museum with my mouth open for how amazing it is to see everything as it was when Churchill was there. It was phenomenal. High tea was so much fun. We were there for a little over two and a half hours because the waiter never brought our bill. We did not mind because he was extremely good looking. I even got a picture with him! “Wicked” was absolutely amazing. The singing was great and the acting was great it was just so amazing. I sat next to a professor from GA so I got a lecture during intermission. I LOVE where we are staying because it’s off the main street so we do not hear the noise. The nuns are so adorable. One has a bunny! We have a busy week ahead including Westminster Abbey, Harry Potter, and PARLIAMENT! Cheers!
